What it is

The Philippe Braunschweig Grant from the International Organisation for the Retraining of Professional Dancers (IOTPD) supports choreographic artists transitioning to new careers after dance.

Who it is for

Professional dancers transitioning out of their performing careers who have worked in IOTPD member countries and are not eligible for career transition support in the countries where they worked.

Open to artists in Germany, Canada, South Korea, Spain, United States, France and others.

What you need to apply

  • Not eligible for career transition aid in countries where you have worked
  • Evidence of professional dancing activity in the 3 years before the application deadline
  • Documentation of at least 36 months of professional activity over a minimum period of 8 years
  • Documentation of work in one or more IOTPD member countries
