ORBITAL is a residency program created by the Dunja Jocić Foundation for young and developing dance makers to take their first steps in creating and presenting choreographic work. Over thirteen days, a selected student will explore a choreographic idea around a given theme under artistic guidance, resulting in a public evening presentation of approximately one hour. For this edition, candidates are invited to submit a choreographic idea around one of the following themes: Polarization, Identity and belonging, or Rituals.
Dance or choreography students based in Amsterdam with a strong artistic interest and a clear idea or research direction to develop.
Open to artists in Netherlands.
