First edition of the San Agustín Photography Prize. International award for documentary photography about the origin of coffee: the producers, landscapes and communities of the territories where coffee begins. Theme: 'Waiting'. Solo winner receives €2,000 with no registration fee and no brand sponsors. Submission is a series of 3 to 5 images with artist statement. Independent jury: Lisa Palper (designer and illustrator, Barcelona), Nicolás Fernández (photographer and documentary filmmaker, Bogotá) and Julián Rus (photojournalist, Oviedo). Finalists announced March 2027, winner announced April 2027.
Photographers worldwide who work in documentary photography about coffee production, coffee-producing landscapes, and communities in coffee-growing regions.
Open to artists anywhere.
