Senior Musician/Teacher position for upper strings at Big Noise Douglas, a Sistema Scotland programme in Dundee. The role involves teaching instrumental lessons, musicianship sessions, and group teaching to children from pre-school through secondary school and adults. Leadership responsibilities include contributing to centre strategy, leading trips and events, mentoring other musicians, and taking responsibility for one portfolio area such as learning and teaching, youth voice, priority families, pathways or community engagement. The successful candidate will demonstrate best practice in musical delivery and help grow children's confidence, respect, aspiration and understanding through orchestra-based learning.
Experienced string musicians with degree-level education and professional performing experience who can teach children and young people.
