Lead the Open Stage Youth Theatre group for twelve young people aged 11–17 years with learning disabilities at the Yvonne Arnaud Theatre. Plan, resource and deliver accessible weekly youth theatre sessions on Saturdays from 11am–12.30pm during UK term time. Create a safe, welcoming environment where young people develop confidence, creativity, communication, teamwork and performance skills. Work collaboratively with parents, carers and theatre staff to remove barriers to participation, with understanding of inclusive practice, safeguarding, behaviour support and sensory needs.
An experienced theatre or arts practitioner confident working with young people with learning disabilities, neurodivergence, or additional learning, communication, sensory or access needs.
