SAM Residencies Cycle 4 welcomes applications for three residency strands: Listening/Attuning (practices responding critically to current urgencies), Making/Material Cultures (material inquiry and the process of making), and Beyond Human/Interdependence (relationships between humans, technologies, ecologies, and other forms of life). Applicants interpret these themes in relation to their practice.

What you get

A shared studio space or co-working space, monthly stipend of S$1,500, institution resources and expertise, network building, and opportunities for public engagement. Singapore-based residents receive up to 6 months residency plus S$250 monthly local allowance; international residents receive 1-3 months residency plus roundtrip economy flight, housing arrangement, and visa assistance.
